1. Olajumoke Orisaguna

Olajumoke Orisaguna or Jumoke Sunday (born 1989) is a Nigerian model who came to notice when she appeared on the cover of a magazine before she was employed as a model. The story was reported in various media including CNN.

Olajumoke Orisaguna was born in 1989 and brought up in Ire in Osun state. She trained as a hairdresser where she met an artisan named Sunday Orisaguna. They married in about 2010 and they had two children. She travelled to Lagos with one of her children where she hoped to make more money selling bread. Her husband stayed behind with the other child where he worked installing sliding doors.

Whilst she was working in Lagos, she was caught in the background of a photo shoot where the photographer, TY Bello only discovered her face later when the day’s work was seen on social media. Bello had been photographing the British rapper Tinie Tempah and at the time she had been ambiguous about Orisaguna had walked into the photo shoot. She had asked her if it was OK to take her picture and she had been given a nod. In an attempt to find Orisaguna she arranged for her picture to appear on the cover of Style magazine.

She was discovered and she was offered a modelling contract, internships and work, despite not speaking English. Her husband and her other child moved to Lagos to join in her good fortune. Her story and success after working hard as a model was reported as a role model.

According to CNN, she will be offered some education and a bank has offered to pay for her children to attend school.

Popularly known by his stage name Adekunle Gold, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and graphic designer. He describes his genre of music as urban highlife. His 2014 single “Sade” received massive airplays on various Nigerian radio stations. His follow-up single, titled “Orente”, also received positive reviews from music critics and consumers. In 2015, he was nominated in the Most Promising Act of the Year category at the 2015 City People Entertainment Awards, and was also nominated in the “Best Alternative Song” category at The Headies 2015 for his song titled “Sade”. He is currently signed to YBNL Nation.

4. Arakangudu

Sikiru Adesina (1971–February 8, 2016), popularly known as Arakangudu, was a Nigerian film actor, director and producer. He was best known for taking up roles as either an herbalist, armed robber or occultist in films. On February 8, 2016, he died at his residence in Kaduna, Northern Nigeria.
